Bumping the merino content to 70% keeps your ears warm on freezing ridges, while the 30% recycled polyester mix helps it dry out quickly when you are sweating on the skin track. We used flatlock stitching on the cuff to get rid of thick seams, so you won't end up with an annoying pressure line across your forehead after a full day on the mountain.
